It runs read-only, with no production impact.
What does the free health check actually look at?
Backups and recoverability, security and access, patching, configuration, performance and licensing — 500+ checks from SQLTriage, the engine we built in-house. You get a graded report in plain English, whether or not we ever work together.
Are you on-site in Auckland, or do you work remotely?
Both. We are based in Auckland, so we can come to you here, and most of the work runs remotely over secure access to your estate. Either way you get a senior DBA who has fixed your exact problem before, not a junior reading a script.
Can you move us to Azure — or bring us back?
Yes. On-prem to Azure VM, Managed Instance or Azure SQL, and repatriation back to your own hardware when the cloud bill stops making sense. We test the move on a copy and cut over in a window you control, with a rollback ready.
Is the health check really free, with no catch?
Yes. It is read-only, changes nothing on your servers, and the graded report is yours to keep. If it surfaces something that needs deeper work, we tell you what it costs first — and you are free to fix it yourself.
